No thread? Got to be one of my most anticipated games of the next few months. The Dark Project and The Metal Age have to be two of my favourite games of the late '90s.

Tyeah remember seeing this revealed the. Forgot about it. Discovered it again yesterday and watched all available videos. Don't think it will be as good as I hoped.

Really hoping to be proven wrong though.

Yea early reports of the game were that it was ordinary, but a lot can change.
Also first person I don't think works as well with these type of games.

I liked Dishonored a lot, but my major beef was how overpowered the main character was. Once you started to get access to things like Possession, Blink and Bend Time it all got way too easy. You could bypass most of the major obstacles without really having to work that hard.

That is a really big difference from the Thief series, where your character is not a powerful fighter and doesn't have any supernatural abilities. Abilities are designed to be realistic and you really have to work hard on the stealth aspect. Aside from that, Garrett is just a truly brilliant character. Probably my favourite videogame antihero. So much more personality than Corvo.

So basically, this should be the game that Dishonored could have been. I am hoping they get it right

I just pre ordered with JB, listed price was $78, hopefully even cheaper when it's released, comes with a exclusive mission and in a metal case

First Dishonored was great.
Second from what I've seen the detractors of thief Mainly focused on two things
1st person only
Unforgiving

So basically it's what fans of the series were promised, seriously **** casual gamers not every game should hold your hand.

Probably not for me. Looks a neat game though, will be interesting to see how it goes.
