Although it's a good suggestion, I really don't think Geelong 'supporters' would.
That'd take effort and commitment to the club.
Why would Geelong 'supporters' do that when they have a culture of bludging off the AFL and the tax payer, and abandoning their club at the first indication of challenging times?

Still, a noble idea to look for inspiration from the reigning premier and the biggest club in the land with the most passionate and loyal supporters

Geelong bragging of being "debt free" (I seem to remember the Cats being in debt for fifty straight years previously) carries about as much gravitas as Norf boasting they've yet to fold - because the AFL keeps propping them up via the equalization fund.

Without handouts neither Geelong nor Norf would have a pot to piss in. It sickens me that power clubs like mine must continuously subsidize the existence of minnows like yours. Its bad enough with the northern franchises but at least they're helping to grow the game, whereas Geelong's existence serves no purpose other than to pacify & distract the inhabitants of Corio Bay, theoretically lowering the crime rate.
I would much prefer we demolish the Cheat Ground along with the Cats and spend those resources on putting more Police boots on the ground, armed with riot gear if necessary.
