A group of Fremantle businessmen are putting together an audacious bid to purchase the naming rights to Subiaco Oval, with the intention of renaming it Fremantle Oval.

The idea, which comes after mobile telephone company Crazy John's failed in its attempt to rename the arena Crazy John's Stadium, was confirmed yesterday by Fremantle's Mayor Peter Tagliaferri. He said talks already had taken place on the issue.


I don't think i'd stop laughing for years if we managed to get this one up. Where do I donate to the fund?

u lot are so dillusinal.. it takes u 8 seasons to actually make the finals, like 10 goes before u beat the eagles and now all of a sudden u lot think u own the joint? U should stay at Fremantle where u belong, because I think thats what ure name states.. FREMANTLE DOCKERS, therefore thats where u should stay.
