Excuse me but being a polygamist does not necessarily make a person a sicko. Imagine how quick the chores would get done if there were a few of you lot to do them around the home, not to mention the bedroom fun.

What is sick however, is kidnapping, brainwashing and trying to marry a minor.

Of for the love of..... You're talking about Elizabeth Smart. The news has been squawking non-stop about this story every since she was found. No detail of this case is too painfully trivial for the media to not yab about it. They are interviewing the kidnapper's father's neighbor's cousin's dog walker about their 'expert' opinions of each 'fascinating' new development.

It's got to where some of the pacifists are starting to chant for war, just to change the headline story. I'm delighted she has returned safely to her family. I even got a little misty, I must admit. Yet, I'm done with it, and I think it would be best if the media left her and her family alone.

A. I agree with Santos about the legality of consenting adult polygamy.

B. I disagree with Santos that it would inspire any degree of bliss in the home whatsoever. Sure, things would get cleaner faster. At the same time, you are multiplying the number of nagging voices interrupting your sport and beer to tell you all about how everything got cleaner faster. The sack? Are you aware that women in close confines start to synchronize their menstrual cycles? All of 'em. At the same time. *shudders*
