This is the week Tigers.
The week to see how far we have come.
The week for ours cubs to become Tigers.
The week to show the critics we a can beat a recognised good team.
The week to prove to the football world that our rebuild is on.

I have been very happy with all we have shown this season but like many of you people I`m sure a couple more real rewards for our efforts would satisfy us even more.
I put it to the team to play this game as a mid season final, show all of the tenacity, fight and endevour that we have witnessed often this year and continue it through for the entire match so as to grab the victory you, as a team of players, can earn so as to reinforce the belief in both yourselves and one another.

I certainly think Sydney are a very good team but I feel much of their list is past their very best and we can use our pace to advantage and upset their shutdown style of game.
Back yourselves all day

Attack Attack Attack

Eat `Em Alive Tigers

i am dreading the thought of seeing :

HYDE/PETTIFER/TIVENDALE/BOWDEN named all in the same side.

what a huge backward step that would be :thumbsd:

Yep for sure this week is crucial to our hopes of becoming a real contender. I think Sydney have been playing superbly this season and this is a real test, if their is one thing that can throw the swans however it is contested footy at pace and if we get our shit together it is exactly what we can give.

We have shown how good we can be at winning the contested ball and it is time to run like we never have before when attacking and when defending doing your job make sure you have a man dont let that man have 2 meters as it isnt good enough. Max pressure going back and forth.

WE CAN WIN THIS ******* GAME AND IT IS TIME WE STOOD UP AND TOLD THE FOOTBALL WORLD ABOUT OURSELVES!!

Need to keep the forward line as open as possible so our half-forwards need to play further up in the middle than usual.
Then as stated already, work our buts off in the contested stuff to win it, then use our superior pace to quickly deliver into an open forward half. If Pettifer plays and Morton does not, I hope to God Petts produces this week. (I reckon Morton would go well at the SCG)
It would not surprise to see Lids spend more time up forward this week as well.
