What would you Expect to be the Changes for this week?

I think they would Be:

In - McGough, Shackleton, Richards.
Out - McKee, Rowe, Swan.

That is what i think is goin to happen this week, even though i've thought Shack has gonna come in alot of times this year and it hasn't gone down.

McGough was Second Best yesterday for williamstown so i would expect him to come in. And Shackleton was also in The Best so he'd be close.

Richards for Mckee is a No Brainer.

In: Luke Shackleton, Rhyce Shaw, Guy Richards, Ben Kinnear
Out: Alan Didak (susp/inj) Chris Tarrant (susp) Dane Swan, Steve McKee

IMO Chris Tarrant will be sighted and go for a week or to, not only for contact but he does have a tribunal record which won't help him by all means. Alan Didak is out for several weeks unfortunately, but probably would get suspended at the same time. Dane Swan is a good player, but Game Time is getting the better of him and deserves to go back to Williamstown. Steve McKee will go if Stretch comes back and Lonie and O'Bree will just hang on thanks to the Tarrant and Didak outs.

Luke Shackleton will finally get a run in the seniors and Rhyce Shaw should be welcomed back and be put on the ground for much much longer than previous game time. Guy Richards should be available while if Chris Tarrant goes, then it is time to give Ben Kinnear another run in the seniors. He will be needed against a Brisbane side and he adds the Key Forward position where Tarrant left off. Has kicked 8 goals in the last two matches including 6 in a 11 goal loss.

I think this is the time to expose some of our young players, and drop the duds that have been poo all year, I'd love to see

IN-H&B Shaw, Shack, Crow
OUT- Davis, Lonie, Didak, Cole

But that will never happen, so I guess it will be any forced changes IE Didak one, Maybe Tarrant and Richards to come back in.

Davis and Cole out. :( :(

What are some of you people thinking.

Honestly, Richard Cole has been terrific, even though he did have a bad night last week agaisnt Geelong and dropping Leon Davis is just a ridiculous call.

Leon Davis has had a **** year, but he was great against Hawthorn and even better against the Handbaggers. His form has reached an all-year high.

He has been playing midfield, if he can maintain that spot, he can maintain his form.

My Thoughts Exactly. Cole Has Stepped up this year and Leon has been playing well the last two weeks. Whats goin on people.

Don't think Crow can be Played, I mean he is on the Rookie list ain't he?

yes he is, the whole point of both mine and guess_who's little argument on one of the threads. If you are on the rookie list, you can't just play.

And they are not going to exactly rule out Cameron Cloke or Alan Didak incase of an unexpected comeback are they. He has been supurb this season with the Seagulls but he won't be able to come onto the list, why not give Zane Leonard a run as it is.

IN: G.Richards, B.Shaw, M.McGough
OUT: S.McKee, A.Didak (inj), D.Swan

Brayden seems to me to be the perfect replacement for Dids - he could alternate with Jules between HF/Wing for a full game, with both boys playing at least 50% game time.

My Revised Outs and Ins:

I forgot about Didak:

In: Shackleton, Richards, McGough.
Out: McKee, Swan, Didak.

I would love for Swan not to be dropped but i think its gonna happen.

If richards is fit he should play for McKee.

Other than that any of Mullins, Swan, B Shaw, H Shaw, Shak, Walker, Rowe, Maxwell, McGough to get games over the rest of the year. rotate as many though nthe side as possible. Anyone with an injury should miss. A few other should be tried in new positions. Lets gety something from this year. So far the positives are Richards and Cam Cloke. Rowe and Maxwell could be positive also if we can give them the chance. Mullins has to get serious game time so we can tell if he has "it".

I think Crow come off the rookie list this year so we should promote him and give him a crack. Otherwise he gets cut and we have to re rookie him. We might miss out. Let have a look at him and if he's up to it he can stay on the list. We can re rookie Zane since no one has seen anything yet to be impressed by so we should be able to get him back in the rookie draft. I'd drop Nixon off the list and take him as a rookie if we can do that. He won't play AFL next year anyway. We need to basically play all the young players we need to look at so we can be bloody spot on with who gets a list spot next year. We must send messages about how hard it is to stay on the list. No more Kinnears/McKees please. Only players who have AFL potential.

Collingwood has a full squad of 44 members. Each club can nominate a rookie, which we have nominated Zane Leonard, which means that he can be the rookie that can play senior games without being elevated.

Nick Maxwell was elevated this year and made his debut against Adelaide in Round 9. The reason why Nick Maxwell was able to be elevated was that Tom Davidson had been ruled out for the season due to his season ending knee injury, so that way he was elevated.

Alan Didak and Cameron Cloke have been considered as their season's are over, but you never know what could happen, could be early recovery, Collingwood could all of a sudden win every game, so they wouldn't rule both players out for the season incase that might happen.

So Collingwood remains with a full list and won't be able to elevate him this season unless someone gets ruled out.

Justin Crow can be put on to the senior list next year by keeping him and placing him off the rookie list pre-season someway. Bo Nixon can be placed on the rookie list at the same time, but not during the season. Why would you anyway.

Delist McKee, Kinnear, Williams and promote Crow. put Cam on the long term injury list to promote him. Plenty of options I would have thought. What we have to do is work out who stays and who goes. We need a look at him to make a decision IMO.

I wasn't saying put Bo on the rokkie list now BTW. I meant he can be drafted onto the rookie list next year as no one would take him before we rookie listed him. It seems pointless having him on the senior list next year. If he kills them at Willi or we have a long injury list we can oprgamnise a promotion. The odds are he'll play the year out at Willi though.

I don't think Bo has the things Recquired to be a Good Footballer on The Elite level But i could be Wrong. Looked Very raw in his Senior Chances this year. Could need time. And alot of It. Since being back at Willi has done **** all. I think his confidence is shot.

Seems Richards is still 2 to 3 weeks away. Stunner (or should that now be Stunned which is what he plays like) is a waste of time. If we can't put Cam on long term injured list and give Crow a run we might as well put Tex in the ruck, he can't do any worse.

Seems Tex is actually improving at Willi:eek:

I think that Tristen Walker, has been developed into a defender since coming to Collingwood, has the opportunity to really step up in the ruck if he comes into the side. He is not a bad ruckman, but he won't be a ruckman during his career.

Ben Kinnear may be a chance, no bull****. Depends on our Forward line though. Only if Tarrant goes, which i don't think he even got sighted.
