Surprisingly I don't see a thread on this. Probably because the side picked is reasonably status quo.

ADELAIDE
B: Johncock, Rutten, Bassett
HB: Doughty, McGregor, Reilly
C: Begley, Ricciuto, Mattner
HF: Shirley, Perrie, Thompson
F: Edwards, Welsh, Biglands
FOLL: Hudson, Goodwin, McLeod
I/C (from): Van Berlo, Skipworth, Torney, S.Stevens, Hentschel, Ladhams, Bock

IN: Bock, Ladhams, S.Stevens

No Hart, no Burton, no Clarke. Are there any changes at all?

According to the North Adelaide site, Ladhams will be on the park for the Roosters this weekend.

The news said Adelaide would be unchanged.

poor bock he should get a run soon, need to see how he can use his new body. With just two tall forwards it does leave us a little vulnerable if one goes down or has a bad night, but it leaves us unpredictable too which is good.

Good to see some faith shown in the players...and good to see there is no ''get the stars back '' panic. Burton would have been handy but I think erring on the side of caution is best.

On the SCG I dont know if we need more than 2 tall forwards..plus McGregor may go forward if required as CHB is redundant..as is CHF.

I think most goals will come from our midfield..Goodwin and Thompson 4 goals each is my prediction. Both long kicking ball winners.

I am tipping Adelaide

Doesn't matter who plays this week. Game is gonna be complete s**t due to the fact that the SCG s*cks.

Crows by 12!

The game against Sydney last year was possibly the worst game I've seen at any level. 36 players wrestling for the ball in the midfield for the entire day. Let's hope we crack them open early on Sunday. Would be great to keep this roll going. I've tipped Adelaide and reckon we can do it.

i'm happy with hte unchanged line-up it is atleast showing the players that Craig has faith in them - it also gives stability which lets face it , the crows haven't had in a while

I think its great that VB is getting 2 games early on as well - hopefully he can pick up some stats this week !

Now i was thinking earlier this week seeing that we are playin at the SCG where CHF is useless, i was thinking that we could possibly go with dropping Perrie to find some confidence and form in the SANFL, this week and bring in another running player like say Massie Ladhams or Jericho. So yeah thats what i thought, whats everyone else think???

Ladhams is traveling with the team as an emergency. Is anyone under injury cloud????? Torney didn't complete the training but the club said he will be right to play and judging by his interview today he will definetly play.

Seems odd that Crows would pull Ladhams out of North's game tonight so he can fly out with the side tommorrow afternoon. To me that suggests someone is out of the side

Thoughts??????

It would be tough for trent to carry the forward line he isnt exactly the strong marking type. I didnt think perries form was that bad, he just isnt holding some he'd usually take. Perrie is the kind of guy that would loose a lot of confdence being dropped.

Hmm well Trent i agree probably couldnt do it all himself, BUT he would still have Welsh as another marking forward and then the little crumbers, but i also do agree that Perrie is the type of guy that probably would lose a fair bit of confidence, so yeah i guess it probably wouldnt work, but realistically Perrie probably aint going to get a lot of chances this week(due to CHF being a dead zone at the SCG) so i figured he would get more confidence playing well down in the SANFL.

He doesn't have to play the true CHF position. He could play out of the goal square next to Welsh ;)

from memory the last game we won at the scg we had welsh, perrie and stevens all in the goal square and that seemed to work pretty good :)
