Thoughts for tomorrow?

Personally I would like to see Adelaide Vs Sydney GF. That would be a truly tactical battle of the coaches. Might turn into a scapping game but for a footy head like myself it would be one hell of a tough, hard, gutsy contest with a lot of sore players ath the end of the game.

It would go down as one of the classics decided by less than two goals.

I am confident because of a lot of reasons. The first reason is I am an AFC supporter...so I am biased. BUT I can argue a case, as others have, that winning 3 weeks ago will help us more. Mattner Burton and Torney make our side better not weaker.

On the weeks break and the home ground advantage yes they are strong advantages...BUT if the players allow themselves to take comfort from that then a strong minded side, which I think Adelaide is will tear you apart.

The weeks break must be used productively. The WC players would have played this game in their heads a million times waiting...waiting...waiting for tomorrow. Excuses I know but ....

Week off doesn't seem to be of great help to St. Kilda. Some of their players are already out on their legs. Swans are full of run after 2 bloody tough games.

Having said that there is still 10 minutes left in the game but swans are up by 27.

I was nervous against St Kilda and we lost. I wasn't nervous against Port and we won. I am not nervous this week either...I really just have a good feeling about it.

Time will tell I suppose :D

GO CROWS!!!!

Yes, stiffy. I noticed that too. Some of those St Kilda players seem far too exhausted way before the game was won. Is there a downside to having a week off?

Is it only beneficial for a handful of players but not beneficial for team momentum?

Whatever, for the second year in a row now, we now have another non-Victorian grand final.

A few more years of this and the AFL will start to insist that WA, SA and Queensland come up with an extra side in order to weaken the non-Victorian push. This will only decrease the chances of Victorian-based clubs winning a GF.

We have the competition by the throat. Well done, WCE, Adelaide, Brisbane, Port and Sydney. Come on, Freo, lift your bloody game!

I'm nervous again. I just hope we haven't gotten to far ahead of ourselves. We can do it. the feat is not impossible and as Stiffy said the other week; we always like doing it the hard way; I'm just scared we'll be thinking it's in the bag and therefore not be in the contest aka; St Kilda match.

Everything's on the line. We're knocking on the Premiership door....let's get into them. Our prize at this end of this journey; a grand final...our prize if we lose this match; a participation award. Get in there boys and commit yourself from the first siren to the last. Let's go boys! :) :thumbsu:

In the years gone by I would have agreed with you whole-heartedly. However, there is something very different about this year's team. They have this unbeleiveable resiliance and they don't get distracted easily. Everyone knows that Roo's burning ambition is to be a premiership captain with us. He wants it more than anything else. He has an enourmous recpect from the players, they look up to him and when he commands something fm them, they will give it their best for him.

If we do lose tonight, I don't think it will be because we are not switched on. It will be because we got beaten by a better side on the day. I am quietly confident that we will win today. It will be an absolute SLOG. It doesn't matter if it will rain or not, the deck will be wet anyway. We just need to play our best to win.

I am confident the boys will go into this game with their mind on the job ahead. If the media and supporters are getting carried away, I am sure Craigy and Roo won't allow the players to fall into that trap.

I think we will win girl ;)

GO CROWS!!!!!! :)
