Somewhere else, thank Chr
I like 5 - Rare Insight and 8 - Fuji Dancer. Rare Insight won the Stan Fox against the boys, beating Choisir home who went well on Saturday. Fuji Dancer looks to me to be the Melbourne filly with the scope for improvement and a solid draw. Both of these will need to come from behind, but there seems to be some pace and the Wednesday winners tend to come from behind during the Caulfield carnival.

Not potting Victory Vein, however. Barrier stats say that the fifteen marble has a 8.2% winning strike rate, better than barriers one and seven, and equal with barrier eight. It shouldn't be too much of a disadvantage.

Tips: 5 - 8 - 1

Traditionally a punting nightmare & this looks no exception.

Apparently the rail's out 2 metres for the 1st time ever at this meeting, so not sure if history will be much of a guide.

Hard to line up at the 2/1 Victory Vein, impossible to tell if she was over the top or just ridden too cute last time.
I guess if she'd drawn anywhere on the track she'd be 5/4 so plenty will be keen at the odds.

The old story,Sydney 3yo form looks the strongest but how do you line them up until after this?

Bit of depth in the local fillies but most appear to be looking for at least 2000m. Most will need the breaks to win this.

Should be a great form race & a must see.

Seth.
