what about peter german as a coach knows all the youngsters , has new ideas, would he work or not?

leon cameron has worked and done apprentiship under rocket , so he might have rockets ideas.

There are two coaches that I think would be worthy targets.

Gary Ayres at Port Melbourne and German. Ayres has coached at two AFL clubs already but he has done a damn good job in the VFL.

Sigh this reminds me of how the board was in the end times of Peter Rhode.

Its going to be a tough time people, its going to be more tears before glory. Lets try not to eat our own to much and try as hard as it may be to stay positive. Throwing up every name under the sun is no help. Stability is the key atm down at the club, and that includes the fans.

We need to get out there and support our boys, show that we will never give up and never give in.

SO your saying we should have kept peter Rhode?? We have a reasonably good list that doesnt need too many changes to it to be competitive with the top sides. The game plan is what is killing us. WHo comes up with the game plans?..

Reasonable suggestions:
Brenton Sanderson- Oversaw development of Geelong dynasty
Brendan McCartney- Another that oversaw development of Geelong's gameplan and key player of Essendon's improvement this year, some players have said his influence was greater than that of Bombers. He is also said to be a great communicator with kids and can bring the best out of them.
Mark Neeld- Played key part in development of current Collingwood gameplan. Also Collingwood's defensive coach.

I will be dissappointed if we dont nab one of these and go with a cheap as chips option like German, Ayres, Cameron or the like.

God no, im saying that this board is fast becoming what it was when the end of Rhode was going down. 1000s of threads on the coach serve no purpose, we have nfi who they want to replace Eade or if they even will.

Talking bout young prospects etc is a lot better path to go down to try and stay sane during tough times

Either Neeld or Sanderson imo. Both highly rated, both want senior coaching jobs, both from outside our club, with no relationships with players.
