Hey my fellow cats fans,

I just received a call from my dad that he bought a public reserve family ticket online for the round 6 Collingwood v Geelong game. Problem is, I'm a concession ticket holder instead of a junior. So now, as crazy as it sounds, I'm kinda panicking about being stopped at the gate for carrying the wrong ticket. Is there a good chance I can get my ticket upgraded and still get a seat next to my parents? Should I even worry about this at all?

Not sure how it works upgrading from junior to concession, but I've paid the difference on a concession ticket I was given (to upgrade to an adult), as I was worried I'd be stopped at the gate otherwise.

Apparently ground staff were supposed to be getting tougher with ticket checks, not that I've noticed. I assume you'll still be able to sit with your family if you upgrade. Good luck with it. :thumbsu:

Thanks for your response. I don't mind if I have to pay for it. I just hope they do let me sit with my family. I guess we'll see in 2 months.

Buy a concession general admin ticket, scan that to get into the ground, then use the child's ticket to get to your seat (or don't show the assistant). You probably could just get away with getting in on a child's ticket though...
