I live in Melbourne and my cousin in Adelaide. He can't come so I'm going to use his allocation of tickets.

I bought them through ticketmaster.com.au, non-melbourne based Adelaide member, and have a venue pickup.

The question: will I have to present his membership card at the gate, and will there be any problems?

I think usually you just have to show the VISA card or what ever you bought them on. But certainly don't take my word on that. Would be a lot safer to have the membership with you I would have thought.

If Ticketmaster (Or the AFL) use the same system everywhere in Australia I would say YES.

Last year when I lined up for tickets to the Fremantle qualifying final I had to show the same amount of membership tickets as the number of match day tickets I was trying to purchase. Maybe this has something to do with limited amounts of tickets at AAMI Stadium but if the AFL uses the same system everywhere, one membership ticker should only be valid for one finals ticket per round.

You would have to show his card so Ticketmaster can validate it so it cannot be used again that round.

On the actual match day, it doesn’t matter as long as you have the paper ticket.

Since the Crows vs. Hawks Elimination final may not be a sell out (or all ticketed game) you may not have to show his ticket. I would ring Ticketmaster to find out.

Once you have the paper ticket – you will be fine getting into the game.

will certainly be a fully ticketed game and i suspect it will be sold out by friday arvo, hawks have plenty of bandwagon supporters haha add to that the fantastic melb following the crowies have here in melb...also it being a final i'd expect a stack more wanting to come from over the border....i think it will definitely sell out

im bussing it over fri night and coming back Saturday night. I'm gonna be so damn tired. Save a hell of a lot compared to the price of flights

According to the AFL website you will definitely need the membership card to collect them (they usually clip them so they can't be used again for that week) as well as the credit card used to pay for them. Only the person who's credit card it is can collect the tickets too.

How much did this cost you and what times are you leaving Adelaide and arriving back in Adelaide?

Check out the crow’s supporter’s group page and what options they have.

$105 for a CSG (Crows supporter group) member
$130 for a non CSG member

I have no idea how many places are left on the bus but if you are looking at going over on the bus this is a viable option. And going on the bus with the CSG would be a bit of fun as everyone would be after the same thing, a crow’s victory.

Okay now just doing the maths if you booked with Firefly it would cost you $82 ADL-MEL return now the CSG charged me $39 for my ticket for this weekends game so thats $121 so then they must be carging around $9 for a peice of bread and a sausage for breakfast (thast what you get) yet there cost per seat with the discount would be around $20 one way, what a rip off:rolleyes:

Im also interested how they are getting non CSG members a ticket to the game???

Hey guys,

i have a mate over from SA and we are going to watch the game on sat his mate gave us his membership No.'s and ticket master didnt evan ask for the barcode numbers because they are not ticketmaster no.'s i think you guys use bass in sa ? any way picked up the tickets today and didnt get asked for the crows card only the credit card so the membership dosnt tie to the card ? i know with my cats tickets they print your membership no. to the ticket to cross ref later. mabey we will get asked to show it on sat ??? i think if that happen we might have to buy general ad to get to our seats well worth it since we have L1 Row A. Go Crows :thumbsu:
