Ticket trial under way

The Adelaide Football Club is working with Bass to trial a Ticket Exchange Program.
The number of “no-shows” at home matches has been regularly publicised with numerous ideas of the best method of attacking this issue discussed.
The Adelaide Football Club has encouraged members to lend their tickets to friends if unable to attend a Crows home match.
However, it is often suggested that this increases the chance of tickets being lost or not being returned to their owner in time for the next match.
The AFC Ticket Exchange Program offers a more convenient method of lending tickets. You are given an exchange ticket (valid for the season) which can only be activated by you (via the internet) if you are unable to attend.
Once your exchange ticket becomes active, your regular season ticket becomes invalid for that match. Only the person with the exchange ticket can access the stadium for that match. Your regular season ticket can then be used as normal from the following week. To make use of this system, internet access is required.
The Adelaide Football Club is currently trialling the system amongst 1,000 members until the end of the season.
After reviewing the feedback and analysing the results it will then be decided if this Ticket Exchange Program or something similar will be made available for the 2007 season.

Sounds like it's worth a crack.
