Tickets for the MCG

Hi guys, I am heading across to Melbourne in August to see Adelaide take on the Hawks on the Friday night. How is the best way to get tickets? Should I pre-book or just walk up. Also going to see Freo vs Melbourne over there but tickets I doubt their will be problems getting tickets for that!

Every Crows games Ive been to at the G its just been General Admission, rock up at the gate, buy tickets and sit where ever you want. But saying that its always been against crappy teams.

Yeah, even if the game does get 40,000+, if you get there early enough, you'll still get a fantastic seat in the GA areas.

Depending on how finances/time off work can go, I may head across for this game myself. Never been to a night game at the MCG before.

On the off chance you're a SACA member you can use reciprocal rights to sit in the MCC. Very nice!

Walk up and buy before the game, get there around 6pm and you will have no worries getting a good seat, then head to Crown Casino afterwards, all the advantages of having stadiums int he heart of the CBD

Cheers everyone. Sounds like a lot better than the hole that is Subiaco I end up at every second week.

So it sounds like general admin walk-up is the way to go.
