This is a massive coup for us and will help all our youngsters develop much much better and quicker then what they have been.
He will bring out the best in our younger players and will guide them in the right way mentally and physically.

Good news, but lets not get carried away, there are bigger issues that need fixing!

This appointment just may give some of the young guys the confidence to back their ability a little more and that can't be a bad thing, hopefully he can do the same for some of the fringe players too!

Re: Richmond appoint a psychologist (one more piece of the puzzle)

What a ****ing waste of time. This has been tried and tested before at our club (a few years back) and at other clubs. It means **** all.

Sometimes l think clubs just think they should spend money, just because they feel they need to be seen to be.

I can understand junior mentor programs, career development managers, international support programs for interstae players... but this is absolute FFS, rubbish.

Soon they'll have marriage counsellers for players... on the other hand, the meat Cleaver may use that for all the ladies he's chopping up! :D

Invest in improving our support staff (ie. ****ing Rawlings and Co) not bullshit jobs for headcases that we should be binning.

so many wholes in this piece....oh well some people just dont get it....thats alright plenty do anyway....

Rapt. Awesome news. Watershed off-seasoin for the Tigers. Cameron + this guy + recruits = excellent off season. Plenty of reason to be positive. :thumbsu:

Yeah gettin' a shrink is all well and good...personally I don't put much creedence in all that trendy Califonian, Dr.Phil bollocks...I'd much rather see us doing something truly beneficial like roping in someone from the Melbourne Storm coaching staff to teach our players how to tackle.

They have an ex Storm player down at the club ATM for pre season training doing tackling drills.

Gotta love it when someone thinks they know whats best for the club like its a revelation...and then hey...big surprise...they've already done it. :D

Getting the most out of your list is about thinking outside of the box. Look at Geelong and their treatment of Max Rooke's hammy's. Advancements in sports science need to be met with an open mind not a caveman-like attitude. Sports is almost as much about mentality as it is about physicality.
