To draw with the saints with arguably the youngest team of the round has me in no doubt that we are on the right track with Hardwick...All the teams games experience pasted below...

From the RFC website:

By Tony Greenberg

The Richmond team that drew with St Kilda, in last Friday night’s epic encounter at the MCG, was the least experienced line-up in the competition for Round 2.

Even the Gold Coast Suns, in their AFL debut, had a combined tally of games higher than the Tigers.

Richmond went into the Round 2 match against last year’s Grand Finalist St Kilda with a total of 1152 games among the 22 competing players (at an average of 52.4 games per player). Only captain Chris Newman (176) and Brett Deledio (129) had played more than 100 games.

St Kilda, in comparison, had 2568 games experience within its playing group on the night (at an average of 116.7 games per player). And, 11 members of the Saints’ side had played 100 games or more, with two of them (Lenny Hayes and Stephen Milne) 200-gamers.

The inaugural Gold Coast Suns side contained seven 100-game-plus players, and it went into the match against Carlton with a combined total of 1158 games.

The full list of club games’ tallies going into Round 2 was:

1. Geelong 2640 games
2. St Kilda 2568
3. Collingwood 2358
4. Hawthorn 2305
5. Sydney 1964
6. W. Bulldogs 1955

after that i should probarbly introduce myself,

Im "pirate_tiger" i have been viewing big footy for quite awhile but did not join up till today though, because wanted to post a simple design (white below the slash) for a richmond clash in the graphic design thread.

Im a I.T. Professional, late twenties, Richmond member for 9 years.

It is nice to "meet" you all.
