The Tigers lost to the West Sydney Razorbacks by 12 points tonights...

115-103

Lanard Copeland played a brilliant game and hit 44 points but didnt have enough support from his teammates.

Dissapointing to see none of the melbourne teams making the grand final series.

Bad luck tigers.

Since, if what i read is true, Sydney haven't had a team in the Grand Final series before, no doubt any Kings fans will jump on the Razorback bandwagon. Seems they dominated the Tigers, Copeland his usual brilliant self. Makes an interesting finals series, the Sixers versus the Pigs,

I wouldn't say disappointing ;)

Oh no...we gave Queensland their first Sheffield Shield title, could another South Australian team also hand Sydney their first NBL title?? :( :(

Should be a good series anyway....the Razorbacks have a lot of offensive weapons and are not shy at shooting plenty of 3's.....if our defence if up to scratch we could be a chance, but I favour West Sydney in 2 games. (won't stop me being there on Friday night though  )

YES!! That ends the Tigers....the 36ers took care of the Titans...and now if the Pigs take care of the 36ers.....well ill be happy :)

If the Wildcats cant win it, i certainly dont want one of those 3 taking it home!

Despite losing I think the Tigers had a great year. Before Gaze got injured we were on top of the ladder and the best side in the land. We then did well to make the playoffs after a shaky period and to beat a full strength Titans was an incredible effort.
It was also good to see Lanard Copeland prove that he is just about the best scorer in the league, since Gaze went down he would have had the best average by far.
If our players stay fit next season we will be very hard to stop

One of the hardest tasks in basetball (NBL) is to beat the West Sydney Razorbacks at their home court. I dont know what it is, but its like tyring to beat Brisbane at the Gabba, its just so hard to do so. I believe the 36ers have the home court advantage in the Final, so they will probably have to win both their home games to win the championship, because I cant see them winning game 1.

We'll actually be playing the first game at home, though I take your point.

Aren't the Tigers starting to get very long in the tooth?

usually the lower ranked team plays at home first, and then the higher ranked team plays game 2 and 3 at their court.

I know, but the NBL has changed this system for the GF series.

Home-Away-Home (from the higher ranked team's perspective)

I didnt know about this....how unfair is that???

Shocking decision from the NBL.

At least wait until next year to implement this because it does need to be done but now of all times is very annoying. WSR have it tough now...:(
