Everyone knows one or three.

Went out for dinner the other night for a mates birthday and it just made me realise how tight some people are. I had my meal and drinks, paid about ten bucks over and then when we went to pay we were still way under. Shit blokes .

Any self respecting human will done maths in their head on what they spent, accurately, and round up. Always blows me away when I do this, and know a couple of others have, but a bill is still short. It is the drinks that get you. I think some people just look at the price of their meal, pay that, and figure the drinks came from a Jesus like character out back with a hose and constant flow of water.

It's amazing how that always happens with a group of say, 6+ people.

Everyone swears they've put in what they owe but it is almost always still under.

Not sure if it's people being tight or just forgetful (stuff like corkage, extra drinks, shared entrees etc). Probly a combination of the two!

Can't friggen stand it when it comes to shouting drinks and someone refuses when it's their round, telling the group that they're sticking to the Lemonade for the rest of the night.

this is what I overheard one day:

My mate Joe took his girlfriend went to a jewelry store for their 1 month anniversary. He tell her to pick out what she liked. So she picked a few rings, necklaces and a bracelet and gave it to Joe.
Then Joe goes "ok, now you pay for them, i'll wait for you outside", and walked out of the store."

They haven't talked to each other since.

When you start off on a certain beer... we'll say draught. And they happily go over to the bar and buy it but when the shouting gets further on they decide to go for the more expensive type of drink. You think to yourself... fine we're stepping it up a notch. But when gets around to his shout again, out come the sh-t beers again.

This tight asse I know was too tight to withdraw 20 dollars from his ATM (minimun amount) and went inside the bank and joined a q of about 10 so he could only withdraw 10 dollars.

The same guy also turned up to a 21st one night with No present and a bottle of unmixed cordial under his arm.

He is no teenager either, a grown man 26, who works.
