Tim Gepp "Resigns"

Up to the end of 2007 we only ever missed finals four times (1987, 1989, 2000 and 2001) in 21 completed seasons. Since then we've missed finals 5 times

And with Fremantle becoming an actual professional outfit over that period, the tables have really turned on us.

Is there anything we can do? Start a petition to let the board & co know that we want more than just Woosha to be accountable for this?

Just like the last thing we tried to do to get the club to listen to us. What a resounding success that was

Gepp started back with the club last year and there are some allegations being made that Gepp had a hand in removing Judge. The allegation is that Gepp is Nisbetts 'spy'

The process of removal started when Nisbett put Gepp up in the coaches box, which was the beginning of the end for Judge

Fast forward to the Richmond game and Gepp was seen to be in the coaches box again "assisting" Simmo.

Judge hinted on ABC Radio the fact that Nisbett gets too involved in the Footy department and he is seeing a similar pattern occurring for Simmo

Can't we wait until Simpson starts cutting away the excess fat on our playing list before letting the admin people interfere in the coaches box? If we are sneakily reviewing a rookie coach, then its not going to do wonders to prospective future coaches down the line.

I think Gepp is only in the box to help Simmo as there is a very inexperienced coaching staff in there...I hope that is the case anyway.

Does Simmo get an actual say as to who is in the box with him?? Could he request this Gepp character is not in their, especially if he has heard what happened to old mate Judgy!

That would have made sense if Gepp was in there from day one but the Richmond game was apparently the first time its happened which is why Judge brought it up - the same thing happened to him and the point Judge was making was that Simpson shpould start watching his back as a result. I was surprised at how hard Judge went after Gepp as its not something you hear often

When I heard Judge, I thought the same thing.

He did mention they were mates once so something happened for him to really lash out like that. I reckon Gepp got into the ear of the board about Judges' performance which makes me think Gepp is a bit of a weezle, but at the same time Judge is no mastermind.

I dont think this is the first time he was in the box. Im pretty sure i have seen him on the ground and walking with the coaching group at other games

If Gepp has any hand in removing Simmo I will be pissed. Best thing to happen to our club in a while IMO.

The higher powers need removing, not the coach! Remove Nisbett, and watch how much our club grows. He is singe handedly suffocating us and has orchestrated us to be as mediocre as we currently are. He's a cancer that needs cutting out.

i find it amazing that simpson even has to answer rubbish like this. if someone says anything, its up to others to prove its not true otherwise the default setting is that its true.

Gepp takes quite an active role day to from what I have seen. Was even out on the training track in the preseason and is during the week as well.
