With a history of knee tendonitis I doubt he would be on my shopping list.

2003 FORM
Slowed by knee soreness again through the first half of the summer, he returned midway through the pre-season series and was explosive off the bench in the opening two premiership games of the season. Showed great dash against Essendon in Round 1 and gave his side some spark in the dour struggle against Port. Did some handy things against the Roos in Round 3.

CAREER HISTORY
Tim Notting showed his value by playing 22 games and grabbing his second medallion despite little preparation and a painful knee condition in 2002.

One of the unqualified success stories of 2001, knee tendonitis restricted him but certainly could not keep him down in 2002. He returned late in the Wizard Cup series after only a couple of weeks of running and built his form slowly through the early part of the season.

Say it isn't so.:(

Libra eh? Definitely should make a go for him then if that is the case.

At least the Sunday Times article said Cox was off limits and Sampi wasn't going anywhere.

Luxury of playing for a side like Brisbane, is that Notting looks better than he is - No thanks

id take him for the second round pick we get for Haynes....so in effect it will be Notting for Haynes.
Notting is similar to embley ...that could be good...have 2 tall power wingman/ HFF kicking goals.

I think we should only be entertaining KPPs. Giving away a 2nd round pick for a non-KPP means we have less to bargain with for a KPP.

Notting? No thanks.

Mal Michael? Yes please.

We dont need another midfielder! We need a KPP backman imo.
Why are we persisting with looking at players we dont need? This makes me so mad!

We may not need him but he does give us depth and that is something we can use...not sure what he is liek as a player but if similier to Embley we could definately use him on theother wing... see what happened when Fletcher, Gardiner, Embley all went down with injuries last year.

The other thing is that there are also only so many quality KPP players out there and if we do not have a chance to make a play for one of them then we shuold build for future and add depth in hope that year after we can snare a key position player....
