I get the impression they'll use a temp like Andrew Gaze for what remains of this year, and then name the full-timer - complete with fanfare and a roll of the drums - early next year.

Agreed. Certainly hope "family of" doesn't get the gig, he's ok in small doses only.

I listened for a little bit before turning on Cannibal Corpse. Wasn't too bad. Once footy season finishes I listen to a lot more music in the car anyhow.

Listened to Chrisso & McGuaine on 927 this morning. Had some good guests on including Doug Walters, and asked them sensible questions too. Will reconsider SEN when Granland and Richardson disappear.

Does anyone think they could find enough cash to get Dermie to do it?
 
Dermie would be a good replacement. But I doubt they would have even approached him.

Stopped listening to 927 when SEN started, I liked it when KB was doing the morning show. He did have that dickhead Gary Honey with him though, couldn't stand that bloke. Might give it another go, really gone off SEN.

I remember listening to David Schwartz give a talk in 2010 and The Ox was staying he basically got Dermott's job because he wanted too much cash. I'm not sure if that would've changed now.

RSN Brekky show is classes above Morning Glory. It's a serious sport show with lots of content and McGuane and Christian ask relevant questions.

Actually the best ever brekky team on RSN was KB and Dr Turf. They were excellent value.
 
With Andy Maher coming back this Monday and still no announcement obviously weren't able to lure anyone decent to promote.
