Only a couple of weeks to the first round of 2026 footy so it's time to get your crystal balls out.
Just reply to this OP and fill out your predictions.
Or alternatively cut and paste the table into a new post and reply here with your predictions.
For full transparency I've explained the points allocations this year, but really it's just for a bit of fun ... and bragging rights of course.
This thread will be locked at 7:30pm AEDT on Thursday 6th March when the first H&A game for the season begins.
So make sure you get your entries in before then.
Notes on points allocation:
1. One point for correct team in its correct top 6 position, half a point for correct top 6 team but not in its correct position (max possible 6 points). Same applies to wildcard teams in 7th-10th (max possible 4 points)
2. 3 points for the CSM winner, 2 pts for correct runner-up, 2 points for correct third. 1 point for each correct top three finisher but not in his correct position (eg you pick Bont to come second but he wins it = 1 pt).
3. One point for nearest the correct number of goals, but only if you picked the correct leading goalkicker on the previous question. If two or more entries are equal, you each get 1 point.
4. 1 point for each correct selection but minus 0.5 for each incorrect selection (otherwise you could just name the whole squad). Minimum points = 0 (i.e. no negative scores). If you correctly predict zero you get 1 point.
5. As with note 4, you get 1 point for each correct player but minus 0.5 for each one you get wrong. If you correctly predict zero you get 1 point. Minimum score = 0 (no negative scores).
6. 1 point for the opponent being correct, 1 point if you also are nearest the pin on the margin, but only if you picked the correct opponent.
7. 3-2-1 pts for the three entries nearest the pin. A bonus point if you get the exact membership right!
8. As with note 4, you get 1 point for each correct player but minus 0.5 for each one you get wrong. Minimum score = 0 (no negative scores).
