When I sent this in it's 8:55 AM here in the states - near NYC.

About 35 degrees farenheight.

What's it about the weather down there.

I would think it could be depressing being hot for Christmas.

But then again it could be a beach of a day.

Well currently it would be about 20 degress celcius over here at 2.12 pm Eastern standard time.

Melbourne I am talking about in case ya didnt know.

Wel Longboy

yesterday (23Dec01) I went to a brothers house for a bit of Xmas get-together. He was there, and so was his wife as well as two of his grown-up children from his first marriage who were passing through Sydney on therir way back to NZ to spend Xmas day with their mother.

We spent the day in his pool !

It was 32 celsius in Sydney Yesterday (thats about 85 in your temperature) and stinking hot and humid. Later in the day when it got really stifling there was a nice little thunderstorm and a shower of rain to cool everything off a bit.

A glorious day mate - You can keep your snow and stuff for your Northern Hemisphere Christmas anyday.

Illl take a stinking hot day by the beach or pool with a seafood BBQ and an ice cold glass of Australian Champagne anyday !
