We all want him in.

But i dont want to get the hopes up, it took me weeks to get over the last time when he was only an emergency. I almost died due to pure disbelief.

Stiff thought he was a chance with Millers injury. Think i may take to Jamer or someone with an axe so 426 can get a game.

He should be given ago big boy, how did he go when he did make his debut?

Donuts? :o

426 will long live in our hearts, as the one who almost made it... onto the field that is.

He's played 3 games already. Can't say I remember how he went, but he has played.

I saw his debut, twas against the Dogs. We tried to really stretch their defense for height with Neitz Smith and Bruce all going to full forward. We won that game and for memory I think Nathan Brown kicked something like 5 goals 20 behinds :p

could somebody please fill me in on the whole "426" story, i am a poor uninformed WA member who seems to be lacking the knowledge of this nicknames origin.

also my need to join in the humourous banter requires this info.

Hehe, without humour where would us Melbourne fans be? 426 refers to how, in the past whenever Smith would be named our injury list, he would always be 4 to 6 weeks away, hence 426. He's somewhat of a cult figure on these boards, alongside Philthy Phil Read.
