2009 was his prediction and he will be there to see it fulfilled, or not. On his 5 years he will be judged, though if we're travelling nicely mid 09 I'd be delighted to sew him up, though another 2/3 years would suffice next time.

Maybe look to give someone like Buckley some work experience too... (gee that was hard to type)

Same answer as I gave to sacking him.

Let him see out his contract, and look at the situation, and possible alternatives available at the time.

And no...No more 5 year contracts...He got that long because it was accepted the rebuild would take time and he needed the time/security to make tough calls. With that largely done, more normal contract lengths will suffice.

Hmmm...let's see. Our improvment has come in the past three games. During that time we have won one, drawn one and lost one.
This club is too quick to sack coaches so I hope we're not too quick to renew their contracts either.
let's judge Wallace and the rest of the playing group after this season and then sit down and decide what's in our best interests.
i can't for the life of me work out why we would want to re-sign him now when there is still so much water left to go under the bridge.
Just a hunch from where I sit. Something has made Wallace in the past three weeks try some new things and take some risks. He was forced to do this, because if he didn't, he was a dead man walking. Keep the noose around his neck and maybe we'll get more of the same. Loosen the noose or remove it altgother and and we may all just slip back into our comfort zone.
An emphatic 'no' from me to the OP's question.

NO.

Its not that i dont rate Wallace, but i think he is a man more suited to building a side. I dont think he can us any further. I would love to have Buckley coach us in 2010 or somebody like that.

I wouldnt be surprised if Wallace coaches us tho but its certainly not a time to renew his contract.

we are atleast 12 months away from looking at contract renewel.

i would like to see terry stay but get rid of rawlings & royal
bring buckley & hird instead or even bond

Ridiculous!

Royal and Rawlings are doing fantastic jobs by all reports so why would you bring in 2 untried people if the formula is working well?!?

If it ain't broke...don't fix it :thumbsd:

yes indeed, he is need of a few grey hairs and the tigers are masters at doing that.
BTW dude, your arse is grass tomorrow morning, the red machine is coming and coming hard and they dont take any prisoners when the cup they are used to winning is one game away. Stay tuned. ;)

Agree, no need to get rid of Rawlings and royal. But it would be a good idea to bring in a buckley or a bond.

there might be a chance that there are a few x-tigers available to sit in the box with TW after the end of the season. Gotta feeling the scenery is gunna change over in Eagle land and wouldnt mind having one R. Wiley & one T. Gepp shedding some light on what playing finals is all about. ;)

move on man....ii see tottenham...poor fella...tottenham and the tiges? LMAO....sheeesh...did you pull the wrong rein for the last 2 decades..

Have asked myself why more times than I care to remember. I live in hope for both teams. I've had a tough life.
If the scum get through tomorrow morning, I'd have to barrack (and I use that term loosely) for ManU in the big one...as much as it would hurt.

Don't think grey hairs will help Buckley's looks.

Hope you do win tomorrow morning. I hate what Chelsea has become, not that Liverpool is much better but i do love watching Torres play.

Either way hope the winner destroy the Manc W@nkers in the finals and somebody breaks that tosser Christiano's leg and his shrek puppet can get stuffed too.

Stupid me. For a minute there I thought it was Arsenal, but I realise that I celebrated long and hard when they were dumped out of it in the quarters. The Scousers are playing. That's different. I'll be gunning for Liverpool.:o

Terry is the man. I'm not interested in any new coaches within the next 5 years. Just wait until next year and sign him up again then. By then it will be obviously the right thing to do imo. Anyone who wants to replace terry must have rocks in their head. Where have they been the last 25 years?

My brother's a Spurs fan too. I told him years ago that's like barracking for Richmond twice.

Not quite but yeah I know what you mean. Must have done something really bad in a previous life.
I know it's a meaningless piece of silverware, but Spurs at least win something every now and then (Carling Cup).

give you the tip dude. The only things that mean something are the premiership and top 4. Anything outside that nowadays is like what the VFL is to the AFL....basically irrelevant apart from playing out of form AFL players into form and blooding youngsters.
Lets face it the only reason any tiger would go to watch Coburg would be to see where the youngsters are at and what form the out of form tigers are in, with a bit of a watch on anything that might bob up in the Coburg list that might do a Kingy. Apart from that the rest means JS. ;)

true in an AFL sense, but in the round-ball game it's a tad different. Spurs not even close to being a Europe contender for next season, sitting 11th on the table and lucky to be there IMO. Great strike force in Keane and Berbatov, but we leak goals.
but becasue we beat Chelsea in the Carling Cup final, we get an automatic UEFA spot (yeah I know it's a poor man's champions league), which means £ and lots of it and worldwide media exposure for the games.

the only people that would watch a UEFA game are those that support the two sides. Got up a few weeks ago, after a double, double header of Champs league and watched Fiorentina v someone, cant remember who, and it was like watching Coburg play Bendigo bombers on a Saturday, after watching a Friday night game at the G. ;)
