Computers & Internet Time: Why is System Time and 1194 Time different?

We can ring up 1194 and get GMT. This is about 5 minutes different to the system time on the Windows OS.

So which one has it right? And if 1194 is correct, why can't Microsoft fix their shit up and get their time synched with GMT?

Change your system clock maybe? How long since you have synchronised with an Internet Time Server?

UTC replaced GMT as a main reference time scale, on 1 January 1972. However to which one is correct im not sure, id say GMT is though.
