MELBOURNE DEMONS! :)
Melbourne has left the door open for former club champion Stephen Tingay to return to the club if he is interested in a position.

Tingay, lured to Sydney this season, retired from football at the end of July, ending his lengthy battle against debilitating injury.

Corcoran yesterday said coach Neale Daniher had been in contact with Tingay and that he was "definitely a candidate" to be asked back to assume a role with his old club.

I got this from today's Age and i was wondering what you guys thought about it.
I personally think it's very good of Melbourne to offer Tingay a position should he want it, because he was obviously a favorite down at the club and seeing him return to where he belongs would be fantastic.
The only thing is, there were some internal problems with Tingay and I'm not sure if they could be resolved or overlooked for Tingay to come back and take a part in Melbourne.
One thing is for sure, Robbo would be happy... him and Tingay were always very close. :)

Any thoughts?

well i dont know...... it would be great to get stinger back, cos then id be able to get him to sign my photo, AND ask him why the hell he broke up with my friend. GRRR (she is in sydney wit a broken heart :( ) he did get delisted but then again he wanted to do things his way, and the he wouldnt really listen to the medical staff..... so i dont know the whole story, but if he had done what they said last year, he may still had been a Demon this year. LOOK i say let him come, and he can bulk some of the young guys up.... god knows they need it. (and he can get back to his chic little cafe in albert park he has wit Lovey. ;) :D )

well he never really got the chance to wear one did he? the only one i saw him in was a port melbourne one, and then again that was red and blue

I saw him wearing a Swans polo shirt the day he was drafted and also in a Swans suit when he was interviewed another time. It did not suit him.
