- MELBOURNE DEMONS! :)
Melbourne has left the door open for former club champion Stephen Tingay to return to the club if he is interested in a position.
Tingay, lured to Sydney this season, retired from football at the end of July, ending his lengthy battle against debilitating injury.
Corcoran yesterday said coach Neale Daniher had been in contact with Tingay and that he was "definitely a candidate" to be asked back to assume a role with his old club.
I got this from today's Age and i was wondering what you guys thought about it.
I personally think it's very good of Melbourne to offer Tingay a position should he want it, because he was obviously a favorite down at the club and seeing him return to where he belongs would be fantastic.
The only thing is, there were some internal problems with Tingay and I'm not sure if they could be resolved or overlooked for Tingay to come back and take a part in Melbourne.
One thing is for sure, Robbo would be happy... him and Tingay were always very close.
Any thoughts?
