My guesses..
1. Possibly not - I believe there have been some threads in the gaming boards which have had ridiculous numbers of posts, particularly if you combine the "part 1, part 2, part 3" threads - noting that we were told to limit threads to 1000 posts under the old vBulletin system.

2. Not sure how many - as I said, the gaming boards would be the place to look.

I only heard speak of it on the news yesterday and I wasn't able to pay much attention to it, but I thought I heard say that Williams had suggested a mandatory eight week rest period for players suffering from multiple concussions. If this is the case and the AFL do end up adopting a similar stance then there may be a silver lining to losing Tippett, since if we were to depend on him only to lose him in the lead up to finals it would be a devastating blow. Although it still would be a whole lot better had we actually got something in return for him.

I've asked the Admins. The following is their response (with a bit of paraphrasing).

This is definitely the biggest thread in BigFooty history. Note that threads on the old system were limited to 1000 posts, so there may have been some which would have rivalled it if parts 1.. 30+ were all counted together. However, as a single monolithic thread, this is definitely the biggest in BigFooty history.

There is no chance of knowing who was the 1,000,000th viewer. Apparently the view counter isn't terribly accurate and is somewhat subjective (whatever that means).

I'd already picked up on this particular thread. There have been topics which have been big, but given that they were in the days of when BF was quite small, they would not have reached that size. Also because on the vbulletin software there was a bug which caused an error when swapping thread view styles, we limited threads to around a 1000 posts so nothing else would have come close and that thread would easily be the biggest around.

They were also curious to know who the lucky 1,000,000th viewer was last night, if that is at all possible.​

No chance of knowing, 'views' on xenforo are a little subjective as well and shouldn't be taken as very accurate.

We used to drive down to Laura from Hawker with a couple of large eskys and load up and bring them back for the rest of the town. Golden North Honey icecream and some ice magic on the top, perfect desert!
