Agree. I feel for him, but would not like to see him back in the side.
Thanks for your service to the RFC, some good, some bad, but you played more games for the Tiges than I ever will.

He has been a great servant, but unfortunately for him and fortunately for us, we've got youth that has surpassed him.

Credit to him, he goes back to Coburg and plays his guts out, same goes for Hyde.

Both of these guys weren't high draft picks but have got the most out of themselves, pity a few of our higher profile picks didn't have their work ethic.
 
he was a pure wingman and a great left foot kick. Lost confidence in the end. 187 games in a row... would have been nice for him to play 200 and get life membership.
 
He has been at the club for over 10 years coming through the rookie system

Can he qualify through years served rather than just games played???

the fact that he is so hated on here astounds me. i kinda like him, he had one bad game this year and he always dominates for coburg, more so than anyone else we have seen this year.

the hatred stems from 2000-2007,pretty much.

Am lucky enough to know Tiv and while I admit he is no longer part of the clubs plans there is not a bloke on this board (Oxx included) who could dislike him after having a beer with him. As good a bloke as you will meet. I am glad he has shown everyone his character through this time. It is just a shame it has taken so long for people to acknowledge it.

Yeah rightio, congratulations on the obvious, smart ass, twat of a response. Just trying to give you some insight on the guy and the reasons that Terry might have left him around the club. Terry knows that his preparation is exactly what some of the more talented players at the club need to mimic.

Yeah well done to TW and the coaching staff for knowing exactly what preparation the more talented players need to mimic.:thumbsu:
Ben Cousins preperation was second to none, but he is of questionable character to say the least...I know who'd rather have around the club.
You want to see "Ruthless Richmond" again or "Toothless Tigers" some more?
 
Reckon Tivs will get a farewell game if we are in contention for the finals?

If he is contracted next season then surely we wont pull a Dave Rodan? Surely?

Would have gotten alot more games this season if we had injuries and would probably still come across as reluctantly important.

Like Pettifer has been shown up by the younger talent which is a great positive. Have never had issue with Tivs character but his performances have more often than not been frustrating and shattering. See Richmond vs Kangaroos 2005.
