No, your 2nd round in this or next years draft for Bell.

I'm just not sold on Aish full stop. He is a defensive midfielder/HBF which we have plenty of as well as Rice being a possiblity. We need a small forward more, I would take your 2nd in this year and turn it into Kerbatieh..Gresham if still on the board.

Well, they have made me an offer, but don't tell anyone...

The nub of it is, if I support them, they promise that they will play eye catching football, kick shitloads of goals, win almost every game, and more often than not be premiers.

Have to admit, I am thinking it over, but won't be making a decision until the end of the season.
 
I wouldn't be so ready as to encourage him to leave or push him out the door. His personal issues aside, I believe it is very important to retain his services to help the youngsters develop that will be coming through the system in the club over the next 3 or 4 years of our rebuild.

TB while he is not the most skillfull player on the list, he does put his body on the line and can play that hard inside midfield role. Plus I don't really think that the draft pick we will most likely get for him, will really reflect his true value to our team.

While its OK to think of all the draft picks we can get for all our senior players, I have said many times its still important to have enough hard bodied experienced players to show the young draftees the way, and not force them to play too early before they are mentally or physically ready or have to play roles that they are not really prepared for.

One of the main reasons that Hawthorn, Geelong and Sydney have so successful in developing their list, is that younger members of their squad aren't thrown to the wolves before they are ready to play.

whats your obsession with kerbatieh?..like have you seen him play many games..i know he has xfactor..

If Carlton want Aish it would have to be your second round pick + Bell or a first round pick (10-17 range).

Not really sold on Aish, and would not be impressed if the blues gave up a pick in that range for him. However I can see something being done now that Bell wants to go.

I have not seen him live, nor any u18s, was impressed during Champs.

I like what I've seen and think he has high chances (for a supposed pick 30+) of making it as an AFL player and Carlton need a goal sneak as we have zero and plays mid in u18. Something we need and fitness is far less likely an issue. Has strong ass and doesn't go down easy. The Houli award is another tick for mine as he comes into the AFL with a support system that has helped him to where he is.

Carlton need a 200 game small forward and Gresham/Kerb are the 2 (who I've been most impressed with) who I would love running around in Blue. Carlton have Rice and SOSOS to bid on and we will have to reach for a player or 2 in 2nd/3rd rounds if we feel they can be a great player in the comp. I would be very happy if we reached for him a la Boekhorst last year.

He is a massive upgrade on Davy Ellard. Either Kerbatieh or Greshem if one of those are still around in the second round and no one has bid on Rice or Silvagni to use up our second round pick.
