Thats the nature of the business.sad to see any player go
Surely, you were not surprised by this.
Bloke had more than enough chances.
6th year in the system, aged 24.
And 0 games in 2016 I think this was justified.
Wish him all the best for his future.
My best memory was when we played Freo 2014.As I'm sure you can tell by this thread, TC (as well a few other choice individuals) provided the light at the end of the tunnel early on in the dark days.
At one stage our future relied on Tom Lee, Spencer White, TC, Ledger and Siposs.
Sure they might not have been up to standard but for a short amount of time each one of them provided us with joy and hopefulness. *wipes tear*
I still remember TC kicking that goal to put us in front of Port late in the match after being 7 goals down.If only we could have held on to win it.

Let him know I'm still going to be trying to buy some player issue saints Guernsey from the club with his number on themTommy is one of my good mates, he's shattered about this news as you can expect however he is going to enter himself into the draft and obviously if that doesn't pan out he'd like to remain with Sandy in the VFL next year which would be great for him he's a terrific bloke who really does work hard just found it difficult cracking into the senior side this year and stringing good consistent performance together.
Shattered for all the boys really but we understand the nature of the business, hope they continue playing in some capacity.
Will do mate! I know he really appreciated the support he received from the fans when he went through rehab on his leg this time last year. I think that's what may have set him back a bit.Let him know I'm still going to be trying to buy some player issue saints Guernsey from the club with his number on them
Would have loved to have seen him keep going around. If he happens to have any clash socks he doesn't want or need id be interested in those as well. Fingers crossed the leg goes alright for the rest of his lifeWill do mate! Please pass on that many of us feel he never got a solid chance in his preferred role, for whatever reason. I really wish him all the best. At worst, I think he could turn in to a great trainer for an AFL Club.Tommy is one of my good mates, he's shattered about this news as you can expect however he is going to enter himself into the draft and obviously if that doesn't pan out he'd like to remain with Sandy in the VFL next year which would be great for him he's a terrific bloke who really does work hard just found it difficult cracking into the senior side this year and stringing good consistent performance together.

Actually, I really hope we don't. He's never been given a fair go with us really, not like some others. If there's any hope of another club taking him on, I'd suspect he's got more chance of making it with them.I hope we rookie Tommy Guns like we did with Saunders last year, poor fella had a bad 2 years with injuries and was only squeezed out of the seniors when Mav came in.
Seems like a smashing fella, but probably not quite up to AFL standard. No shame in that though, especially because he obviously gave it his all and earned rave reviews from all who encountered him. Hope he finds something else; if not, hope he wins a Liston in the next couple of years.

When you aren't a superstar a lot has to do with timing. He was unfortunate not to get a chance to make it as once Watters left guys like Siposs, Dunnell, Lee and Cuz all lost favouritism as Richo found his own boys to mould into what he saw ahead. You never know what could have been if timing had been different or at another club or less of a type to compete against. I had a school mate who played AFL and he was a pretty ordinary player but went on to play 100 plus games at the Blues when they were in a successful era. He was no better than Curran. I had another school mate who made an AFL list was abetter player and never got a chance due to timing and other issues, it sucks but that's life.
Siposs, Dunell, Lee and Curren. Oh how far the rebuild has come...
