What do people think about this guys chance of getting drafted. Personally I would love it if Geelong picked him up and I believe could be one of the big smokies in the draft. Played with Geelong Falcons this year wearing the number 3 guernsey and is a very classy forward who can also play on the ball. Love his style of play and can take a huge grab and can also kick a long goal. Anyone who has seen this kid play or seen any of the Falcons this year what are your thoughts on Tom.

i played with tom down at the falcons this year and this man has quite siiiiiiilky skills. he is a very elusive player and can turn the game around from any position. i mtch him up to the likes of brent maloney as he has the same frame and talent as the big man. tom did had minor surgury on his knee post season therfore was unavailable for draft camp so fingers crossed the scouts got a big enough look at him during the season. if he gets picked up i predict he will go about pick 40-50.
Not being invited to draft camp may also have had something to do with that. Maybe you mean state screening tests?
I saw the Falcons Round 8 and 9. He was alright in both those games. Probably better in the first one cos Round 9 was Calder and the whole Falcons team was s*** that day.
I don't think he played for the Falcons last year and he only played 12 games this year so who knows if AFL clubs saw enough of him or not.

Good luck to the kid but he played 12 TAC Cup games in his career, averaged 16 possessions this year and is probably not well enough exposed or regarded to get drafted.
It is fascinating that you haven't started a post about Luke Buckland, Will Richardson or Nathan Foley - and all those blokes are in with a better chance of being drafted.

- not big enough for a marking forward
He was an ok player at TAC level, but clubs are looking for more than just ok.

The kid can play...no doubt about that! Heard he's been on the blower to WCE, St. Kilda and the Power from Port! That came from a good source! I guarantee he will get at least a rookie...AT LEAST!

what a joke.the kid is less than a one per cent chance.you cant be small and soft and get drafted.i saw tom play a few games this year and he was my sheep dog of the year.i liked the coment about the local club rookie list,thats where hes heading.
