Thoughts on the kid. I watch a bit of the Chargers, and he's always looked very very solid, and am surprised to see he's not in calculations for a lot of people.

He's a bit on the short side, and doesn't play like a guy with too much speed and flair, but he has solid ball skills both by hand and foot, and finds more enough of it.

I definitely think he has the potential to be like Leigh Adams, who is doing very well for North at the moment. Funnily enough both players seem to have made a similar progression through junior footy, and I think if given the chance, Tom could do quite well.

(Note: Not related in any way to the kid)

Agree with all you've said.

He's unfashionable - sub 180cm player that are 'one-paced' don't tend to generate much interest amongst recruiters and fans alike.

He's produced very good numbers consistently at all levels he's played and uses it reliably but not exceptionally - at worst it looks like he will at least be a very good state league player that's in between the two levels.

I believe he's one that could provide a good return for a low cost.

Yeah I like him played well for Vic Metro so I reckon he'll get drafted.

Couldn't get a read on how quick or slow he was, and he certainly doesn't kick it like Daniel Rich or anything, but he's a reliable user of the ball, and he continually hit up our forward targets with intelligent kicks into the forward 50.

Good to hear that this kind of performance wasn't just a one-off.
