This Kids who is still on the NSW Scholarship but Playing in the VFL. Last 2 weeks he has been very Impressive with Skills and Run.

I think we will put him on the Senior List at Season End and Could play AFL Next Year

What about Scott Reed? How's he been travelling and what is his status?
Reed has played very well when used up forward, but because of Brown and Reid not being in the VFL side, he has had to play back at times, and doesn't look as good back there.

Both Reed and Luke Rounds have looked good at times as forwards, and could be long term replacements for the likes of Davis, Lockyer, and Medhurst in a few years.

Saw him slot a couple of nice goals down at Vic Park the other week & I like the look of him down forward. Probably needs a bit more time to develop but he looks handy.

Tom Young has shown a great deal in his very short time at VFL level. With a full season in the magoos he'll be bursting at the seams for his chance in the bigtime in 2011. The Sydney AFL Rising Star of last year looks like a wise investment. :)

Go Ron Weasley!

Will he play in the u-18 Champs for NSW?

I was rather taken by how good the young fella actually is. I hate using comparisons as to other footballers in terms of type of player, but in terms of build and physical stature he is very similar to Goddard.

Two things impressed me about him from the cats game on the w/e were that he is a very good well weighted kick and that he has a little bit of mongrel in him.

Early call, but i think he has the goods to make it over a period of time if he does the hard yards. I can def see why they brought him down early.

More likely that they'll elevate Reed and add Young, Perry and Witts to the rookie list. I think there'll be a couple of other rookie listed players who'll need to be promoted this year or let go (ie: Blair, Francis, possibly Keefe) so it will be interesting to see how it actually pans out.

Pretty sure that one of the concessions for GC & GWS is that rookies can stay on rookie list for 3 years now. None of our rookies are in the third year (pretty sure?) so we will not be forced to elevate or delist any of them.

Need to create at least one spot for Paul Cribbin but there are 3 options i know of for this.

1. Elevate a rookie
2. Delist a rookie
3. If we have only 1 or no veterans claimed in salary cap we get extra rookie spots (would depend on how squeezed we are in salary cap and if we rely on the veterans "deduction" to stay under).

I'll stop now before i confuse myself, point is we have plenty of options and all year to decide which one is best.

(disclaimer all of above may be 100% wrong)

The last couple of weeks Browny has talked up his composure under pressure which is a fantastic trait for any aspiring AFL player to have, let alone a kid playing against men.

Also liking the sound of Tom Hunter as a hard nut contested ball winner.
