after watching the Sunday footy show this morning, I was thinking to myself what an absolute knob this guy is and was wondering if people that thought the same thing.
When he was putting these absolute ridiculous "hypotheticals" about didak and shaw, and spud told him not to ask Malthouse that question on Monday, he went so defensive and took it out on Spud for the rest of the show

That show destroyed it's own vibe along time ago.
Stopped watching at the start of the year, it became an unwatchable pissing contest
Is it just me or do other people feel this way? I've reached the stage I just don't watch any of these shows because they are infantile and offer me nothing. We just don't get any quality discussion on footy any more because of journalists or panelists trying to be comedians or trying to promote themselves as more important than the players.

I actually prefer the channel 7 show and that has Gilligan's brother, the Ox and Mark Robinson
. The format is tired, the old footballers being knobs is tired and Tony Jones as the only "professional" media person on there is an A class, smug karnt who thinks he's somebody but clearly is not.

Why does he have a job? Lou Richards took him in as a youngster, his parents passed away and Lou got him a job at channel 9. Didn't do any course, didn't have to work his way up from the bottom, was put straight into Channel 9.
What his knowledge like? He was talking about the Socceroos once on the news, they were doing some signing at a westfield, Tony's words "Fans qued for hours to see world cup hereo's Mark Bresciano and Lucas O'Niell." I now refer to Tony Jones as Tony "O'Jones".
Does he have a hissy fit and make stories about himself? In 2002 North had a media conference to announce Anthony Stevens as Captain. Channel 9 went for a live cross but Tony was standing outside Arden Street and not in there, Tony went on a rant. At the start of the press conference Pagan announced there would be no questions about Wayne Carey or what happened and to respect Anthony Stevens and the rest of the players. First question from Mr O'Jones "Have you spoken to Wayne yet Anthony?" Pagan pulled him up on it and said no more thanks TJ. Next question "How long had the affair between Kellie and Wayne been happening for?" TJ was kicked out of the press conference. His dummy spit on live TV was something to behold. "How dare the Kangaroos think the media would be so stupid to expect them to not let any questions about Carey be asked etc etc" He held this grudge against both Pagan and North until this year when North allowed as many interviews as wanted mid week.
He is a complete ****wit and I hope that one day someone will actually look into what his career has consisted of. Smug smiles, bullshit stories about whispers on planes and trying to talk over people.
Hutchy may be as big a **** sucker but at least is good at what he does.
