After what I witnessed on the weekend, I'm with you

I have resurrected this one because we still have our foot in the door ... the foot is black and blue but it is keeping that finals chance alive.
It has not gone exactly to my plan but many of the results have fallen in our favor ... the Brisbane, Stkilda, GWS and Port and West Coast results went our way, with Essendon, North and Sydney in Melbourne going against us. Only the Essendon one I had included as a win. In a season of upsets 12 or 11 wins could get you into the 8. I would almost say our destiny is in our own hands, if we win the last 5 we are in and may make it with 4. Hopefully if the pieces fall into place for us Sydney will be comfortably in the top 2 come the last match and send half their team to Bali for the weekend ^^.
I know anything can happen but we are in good form at the right time and the draw favours us nicely by giving us matches not against the bottom sides but against sides directly in our path. I do know in the footy tipping i haven't got a bloody clue .. if i pick 5 of 9 any weekend its a good weekend.
I overestimated Gold Coast, without Ablett they are a disorganized rabble ... lots of classy individuals but not able to work as a unit.
So here it is again ... maybe just for a week or maybe we can keep that foot there for a little longer and squeeze our way through and into the finals.
I have my tickets to the Richmond v Essendon game for friday and if making a lot of noise and getting drunk counts towards victory then i will be playing my part.
I am going with an Essendon mate .. either i will be smiling as he sits beside me as i drive home or i will drive home very grumpy - whilst he gloats to the other people on the train

Makes you rue the losses to the Bulldogs and Melbourne doesnt it.
Unfortunately two games out of the eight with four games is too far back. I hope like hell we can beat the bombers because we simply need something this season to be excited about.
What makes me angry is that our draw virtually set us up for finals at the beginning of the year. Even with our crappy season, our draw has allowed us to be mathematically a chance.

Watch as we get destroyed tonight. Any game we have to win to be a chance and we crumble. Always have, always will.

and the Tiges storm into the finals on a butt load of wins ^^
in hindsight its about the best we could have achieved really with the top 4 sides all winning so many games. we would have needed another 5 wins to squeeze into that top group so even wins in those games we should not have lost would likely have left us 5th or lower.
in the end it could not have worked out better for us. we are traveling well too this season. we have found a way to come back too when down, something we didnt do last year.
Sydney has to win 3 Games to be premiers .... Richmond has to win 4 ...

and for the guys in this string who were understandably a little sceptical ... after all we had to rewrite the record books to get to the finals ... I know you are all wearing just as big a smile as i am ^^we are long suffering but loyal tiger supporters and we stand together ^^
