Bull****, we should have cruised into the CL with the squad we have, no doubt about it. It's not really a question of talent, it's a question of desire. I doubt we will win the League but we can at least reach the CL qualifiers again.

If we don't make Europe this year, players will probably have to be sold off. A Leedsish crash is unlikely though.

Was watching a show last night which showed the results from the Serbian league. Partizan Belgrade went down to some other Serbian team. The "blame the board they didn't strengthen the squad" excuse is meant to be used after you lose a CL final to Juventus because 2 or 3 of your players were injured, not after you fail to qualify for the group stage...

In our case we can say it because while Fat Freddie was jetsetting across the world tieing up movie deals with Quentin Tarantino and other crap to fill his pockets off the field, the rest of the league added to their squads we sat on our hands and did nothing.

Champions League final or Champions League qualifier, it's still relevant as the result was still the same - a loss that could've been prevented has torn the club's heart out.
