I'm just going to leave this here for the few people who have called for Toovey to be dropped.

His kicking may be average and frustrate me at times but he is in the same boat as Frost, it is worth it if he can continue to lock down good forwards.

No problem with Tooves, other than we also have Frost and Williams in the backline. You can live with one lock down defender who can't kick for quids, you can just about get away with two. Three is too many.

Williams has relapsed this year, at the tail end of last year his kicking was very much improved. He'll get back to that, had a very strange pre season.

Still getting back to it after his injury. Next year will be back to full possum power. Still valuable even now.

He copped a lot of criticism from fans at the beginning of his career and to be honest I didn't think he would make it as a player either. However to his credit hes gotten better and better after each week and just before he suffered the knee injury, had completely blossomed into such a solid quality footballer. Even now his reconstruction and rehab seemed to go very well for him and has gotten right back into form so I hope he can continue his work as the senior that the young defenders look up to.

I have no problem with Toovey but I think we have to many shut down players in the back-line, we need more rebound.

Of those 50 odd one on ones Lonergan has won I'd say 49 of them shoulda been frees to his opponent for scragging.
