Top #20 Draft Picks Still Active AFL Players

From this research I undertook (yes it did take a while), I have come to the conclusion;
- Hawthorn drafted excellently in the years it was down.
- St. Kilda have massively underachieved with its list.
- West Coast will return strong in a couple of years time

Any other thoughts? Any mistakes let me know aswell, thanks
BMM.

Shouldnt Matty Lloyd be included in Essendons list as I thought the Dockers traded the first pick of the 1994 National Draft to Essendon for the "quality trio" of Tony Delaney and 2 others either Dale Kickett, Michael Symons or Williams?

i reckon the dogs have done well and will continue to do with their drafts picks in cooney, griffen, minson, higgins, murphy and ray..

cooneys a chance at the b'low this year
griffen just looks like one day he could be of the elite status
higgins looks good for a midfield/foward
murphy has set his place at chf
minson has the heart and ability should follow
and ray has shown some class

good signs for them

Matthew Lloyd is listed as a "Compensation Pre-Draft Selection" pick in 1994 at No. 49.

- Very big laughs at Freo's list post-2000. No wonder they are such rubbish.

- Agree that the dogs and the hawks at drafted well.

- Will Sydney bottom-out in the next few years?

Hate to be picky but Pfeiffs was pick 7 not pick 17.

Good list. Our talent of kids is on par with the best now.

Well done! What is interesting is that Sydneys & Nth Melb haven't had many great picks if any at all and yet they are two of the most compeditive teams in the AFL and for the last few years have been right up in the top 6 of the comp.

Pfeiffer was pick #17 to Adelaide...they took Douglas at 16 and Pfeiffer at 17

Higgins and Ray my favourites there. Stylish.

No offence but, it took you a long time to come to the conclussion that the Hawks drafter well, the Saints have underachieved and that the Eagles will be back?

Probably true, but add up the time you've spent posting pointless replies such as this and then compare what's more useful. Not having a go at you per se, but if someones done that much work and decides to share, no reason to have a go at him if you find it pointless.
