I have a hard time appreciating Cold Spring Harbor knowing how compromised it was. Kinda like watching The Magnificent Ambersons.

I love the fact that Joel hurled the record into the street in fury when he first heard it. If it is indeed a fact, anyway. I think what we have now is closer to what was intended. But the sophomore effort is just so much better, anyway.

Meant to list that as an alternate. :p

The Scaggs trilogy of Silk Degrees, Down Two Then Left, and Middle Man is the easiest easy listening possible. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, though.
