Top two to bottom four within five years. That is reality. Where to from here?
I really doubt Ed will do anything in 2016, I have no faith in him to.Ed answers to the members. We could be in for some bloody times.
Dew,Tudor, any number of assistant coaches around the country.I couldn't imagine any of them doing a worse job than Buckley has been doing in recent years.A game plan where they players actually seem to know what they're doing and know how to defend and attack would also be handy. It's too easy to state we need a new gameplan and a new coach and then suddenly the team realises improvement almost immediately. It's so obvious that something needs to change, but what is that something?
At least state for the record what the gameplan needs to be? At least state who you think the new coach should be?
No good suggesting to change the coach and the gameplan if you have no suggestion what we change to.
For the record, I have no idea what the gameplan should be or who the next coach should be if we make changes.

Used to feel for Ed as he clearly loves the club.
But now he is setting us back many years due to his ego and not putting the club first.
Unfortunately this will be his legacy and gloss over the premiership and stability he brought to the club.
Nothing like a coup and bit of blood letting to satisfy the fringe lunatic that we are taking action. I'm certain the board have this in the strategic plan.
No point remaining calm, reviewing our performance and forensically examining all areas of the club when we can just have a good old fashion sacking.
Hell we could become Richmong like and have members burning their membership tickets to boot.
Fun times.
You can't rebuild without having high end draft picks. We won't have them.Need to get in some young talent and rebuild over 3-4 years
So 5 + another 4 and it's the 90s all over again. We are currently at 1995.Need to get in some young talent and rebuild over 3-4 years
Yes we need a calm thorough forensic examination to find out whether or not the Buckley coaching regime has worked these last 5 years.Nothing like a coup and bit of blood letting to satisfy the fringe lunatic that we are taking action. I'm certain the board have this in the strategic plan.

Or.... we could just watch us play and have a look at the ladder. Over to you Sherlock.
errr. yes it isNo it's not.
Interesting correlation. Don't doubt it.There seems to be a direct correlation between hiring ex collingwood players and the rapid decline down the ladder!..
Yeah but you are adding players each year. You need to start somewhere and we do have some great young kids. Grundy and a very young midfield who are talented, and Moore, Fasolo and Elliot on the forward line as a start looks dangerous. A fit Scharenberg and Aish improving with a Ramsay and Langdon and you have something to work with which has air of upside. Still very young. We have the talent to maybe just scrap into the 8 with a good injury run, but we're in the premiership business.. we need to build a premiership team, not a team who can make an elimination final then lose
We hear this ****ing excuse each year. "oh next year we'll build to finals. We're a good young side." And each year we're just disappointed. This list will not win a flag, let alone make finals. With a half decent run with injuries I think we can spike massively in 2017. (Granted, we are coming from a low base)
I have no issue with this. I recall a time back in 2001-02 that we were near the top and then dropped bottom in 05-06. and then back up we went. all with the same coach. like MM bucks should be given a full cycle also .Top two to bottom four within five years. That is reality. Where to from here?
