I tried the same thing WM recorder got the URL then I used the URL in HIDownload worked a treat.

Note : I got it to a 2.5 GB file, and played it via my Xbox

Brilliant. Got it to work, about the same size also, 2.5GB.

They dont seem to work for me.

It plays for about 5 seconds, then continues in a state of buffering endlessly.

I have 256k modem, is this too slow?

does sound a bit slow. I think you can adjust the resolution of the bigpond video (used to be able to anyway), if low res it doesn't need as much speed. Never heard of a 256k modem, I thought they wre either 56k dialup or 700+ broadband.

Out of interest, does anybody know if this game is listed to be available for download anywhere, as I will not be able to watch it live?

256kbit download, yes that's what I thought - like I said never heard of that speed before, except maybe that old data service Telecom/TElstra used to have, forget what it was called - over dedicated phone lines.
