Torrents Question

i've been trying to track a couple of programs down but haven't been able to find them on any free torrents such as btjunkie.org

i have tracked them down on sharingwire and baydownloads however. The problem is both of these sites require membership.

my questions

1 - does membership for one of these sites cross over to the other site?? i only ask this because the layout and skins of both sites are almost identical.

2 - is it worth getting a membership (even for 1 month at $2.95) to a torrent site, or is it just a scam?? this is the first time i've ever come across this situation.

I've found a couple of sites like this. They're almost definitely scams, dont be sucked in by them.

this site is still grey because site advisor hasnt gotten around to giving them their credit card yet. when they do theyll see its a bull**** site that steals your info tags your card with obscene charges and if your married and youve signed up for this crap hide the visa bill from your wife cause there will be charges on there for a schwack of super ronchy and expensive pr0n sites. Signing up to these sites is like electing a politician they lie about what they got, lie about what theyll do lie about when theyll do it and oh did i mention itll spend your money on **** you dont want putting you into debt(maybe) while the whole time telling you its good and that you need this. Well ill tell u right now you need these rapidshare sites like you need a case of the clap

This site claims to have every mp3 in the world, but the titles are just copies from Amazon, and you pay $5 to sign up to check what they've got. In fact they have nothing and it is just a scam to raid your credit card every month. Almost impossible to unsubscribe and you may have to scrap your credit card account.

What ever you do, DONOT ever sign up for www.baydownloads.com or any of the other sponsored sites found here. These are total rip-offs and will only take you to adult movie sites, steal your id and credit card info. This site has none of the listed available torrents. Once you sign up you will keep getting a msg saying you are not activated even though the site says you are.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED, CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO BEFORE THEY EMPT IT FOR YOU.

Try Demonoid or the pirate bay.

Yeah never pay for something like that. What program are you trying to get? almost everything is covered by mininova or isohunt.

i think mini nova is the best, but it depends on what you are trying to get. if its a song or a video or something that u cant find on torrents, sometimes emule is pretty good but it just downloads slow.
