Toyota Tundra

With news of Holden bringing the Hummer to Australia, I reckon Toyota should bring the Tundra. It's designed to compete against American pick-up like the Ford F-series.

In Australia I don't think it will sell in huge numbers but hey ... someones going to need or want one. It could only help their tough utilitarian image.

At the moment it's not in production yet but will be soon. Latest news is that it's going to pack a petrol 5.7 V8 (approx 285kW - not sure about torque). A diesel might also be available.

The build quality is terrible, and I think I will knock off any pretentious ****er who even decides to test drive one. Vile, ugly waste of metal. There are plenty of better wasy to spend 100+ G.

That was the old (current) Tundra. This is new one coming out early next year in Nth America.

The Americans do get the Hilux, it's called the Tacoma and it's considered a mid-size . The Tundra is full-size.
