The rumours thread is getting a little clogged with, inter alia, trade proposals that have no basis in rumour or, most likely, fact.

I enjoy that thread, when I can skim over the p1ssing contests, but I also enjoy discussing trade values and possibilities.

Hoping more and more that he stays though. Was good in the ressies GF up here, and I left (as I do everytime after seeing him play) thinking we've got a superstar on our hands.

Hawksley is just the type of guy that Sydney turns into a reliable, consistent player. If we don't get Tippett, will White add any value up forward for us ?

Just don't see any value in White whatsoever. Then again, Hawksley is most likely a delistee so it's hard to see credit in him either. Sadly he just seems to have too many flaws in his game to become a good AFL player.

I think a straight swap would be more likely and fair.

If you take Gumby you take the huge risk as well as his potential upside

I think Stevenson could be free, or close to.

Mitch Brown in important for us. One more year for Glass then he's our CHB. We then won't have a single back-up KPD on our list. If we trade him we'll have to pay overs for someone else next year. I wouldn't trade him for pick 20. I also wouldn't pay pick 20 for him, there should be cheaper options around than that.

I would say Pears if he can stay on the field would have more to offer to a club then Hooker I really rate Pears but just can't seem to stay un-jured

I could see Hawthorn throw you a 2nd round pick for him hoping to get his body right tho would be the main hassle

Hawthorn I was thinking st Kilda and pears or Hooker maybe being packaged with a 2nd for a first rounder probably wouldn't beenough though

I'm entirely unimpressed by Thomas, but we have apparently offered 2 years as we continue our drive to become the Richmond Power.
Stevenson showed a bit in the NAB Cup I thought and with Newman probably providing less drive from the back half as he approaches his twilight then we need to look at options.
Post, well I can't imagine we'll get much for him, although he thinks he's going to Brisbane
