Trade Week: Rumour File

Not long now until trade week officially starts, and for those of you have been around this board in past seasons, you know what that means - new threads are started every day and rumours are posted as fact.

Could 2011 be different?

In order to keep this board relatively clean, how about we keep all rumours in this thread? And by rumour, I don't mean a trade idea that you've made up yourself - there is a trade predictions thread for that. Once a rumour has been confirmed, then a separate thread can be created with the source included. And I don't know about anyone else, but I don't exactly consider talk-back radio as a reputable source.

Also, as in previous seasons, any rumour which is posted as a fact will be carded. Once trade week starts, only an official announcement will be regarded as confirmation. But I'm sure nothing like that will be needed, as we'll have a nice, fun trade week, right?

Rumour this morning on the St Kilda/Fremantle boards is that Zac Dawson could be following Ross Lyon to the Dockers.

Was also a brief mention of Ryan Crowley and Michael Walters possibly having talks with GWS. All I need to do is add the words 'it is understood' and someone could write an entire article on that one sentence calling it fact.

The big word at the moment is Matthew Warnock(melb) to hawthorn, been reported on SEN and I personally can see this happening, would cost a bag of chips as well.

Hawks are also going hard at Jack Gunston, and have allegedly offered Matt Campbell from North a contract.

Yeah well the Pearce rumour won't be leaving this thread that's for sure. If he goes anywhere it will be to GWS next year after his contract is finished and even then I have my doubts about that happening but it might be a good move for him $$$$$$$ and to get away from distractions in Adelaide.
