Bombers shouldnt go for any of the Melbourne midfielders they want way to much and rate them to highly, i read ealier in this post that Lucas and a first round draft pick were not enough for Bruce JESUS i think melbourne would take a trade like that if not they are retarted. Bombers should try to get salopek with bolton and mcveigh to sydney for Okeefe or saddington. And not go for any of the Melbourne Midfielders.

I wouldn't mind trading Steven Armstrong to the Eagles for Ashley Hansen?

Perhaps we could trade Darren Jolly (seeing as he has apparently asked to be traded) to Geelong or Carlton or even St.Kilda for someone worth while? Any possibilities there?

Although my other favourite trade "teaser" would be Scott Thompson to Port Power for Steven Salopek...I reckon it could work...but lets hope Scott Thompson changes his mind and decides to stay at the Demons.

You can always dream can't you? Throw in Nick Smith aswell and Port might start to think about considering it.

I think your the one dreaming if you think Port Power can ask for BOTH Nick Smith AND Scott Thompson for Steven Salopek..thats just too much.

At least my trade "teaser" was trying to be semi-realistic! :rolleyes:

Well I don't believe his was either. :rolleyes: If anybody can think of a fair trade deal let us all know.


I doubt it would happen anyways...as we all know trade deals can be pretty cut-throat as we all want whats best for our own Club.

Plus we can't do anything about something that is out of our control...we'll just have to wait and see what happens after the trading period aka "meat market" won't we? :confused:

If your going to chuck in Nick Smith...put in one of your forwards as well...something like

Thompson, Smith, and Ward for Salopek and Thurstans

I wouldn't like it if this trade went down....wouldn't want to lose smith or thommo
