I doubt there will be a direct trade, it will probably be one of those things involving three or four clubs.

North may not actually receive anything from us directly. I'm sure you will be fairly compensated none the less.

Carey goes to the crows and wins them a premiership in 2003

Johnson goes to the roos and wins them 3 premierships in the next 10 years

You guys certainly have a high opinion of Johnson. I didn't think he was really that recognised outside of SA.

I think he's a great player, just a bit of a question mark with the soft tissue injuries.

Prefer not to give him up really, could we interest you in a Marsh perhaps?

He's played some reasonable footy for the Sturt league side, just a youngster, looks to have a bright future I don't think he wanted to come over in the first place and a move back to Victoria might suit both parties...don't know how highly the club rates him though and whether we'd consider him as part of a trade.

I really don't think you guys would trade a newly drafetd player unless he was adament that Melbourne was where he wanted to be. Even then I reckon you would try to talk him out of it.
