yes i would entertain the idea of trading for Reimer and gain a draft pick in exchange for Nathan vanberlo. What draft pick are you willing to give up? No less for your second rounder or perhaps 3rd. What do you think. i like this trade Obsession

How about:

Reimers + 3rd Round for Van Berlo

Note: I no longer have Monfries

I'm going to say no, Rockliff, Leuenberger and Polkinghorne are all important players to my team along with losing two first round draft picks.

Cotchin + Jack Riewoldt
For
Brendan Fevola + West Coast 1st round pick, Brisbane 1st round pick and Rockliff, Travis Johnstone.

What would you say to that trade, you get a quality forward back for Riewoldt along with Rockliff who is a good player, also get the two first round draft picks for Cotchin along with Travis Johnstone

While the thought is right I have no intention of getting older so Fevola and Johnstone are totally out of the question. Only willing to take on young players who will be productive for a long time considering my position. While the pair of draft picks are of interest I want significantly better players if I'm going to give away Riewoldt who is my franchise player and Cotchin who was a no.1 overall draft pick.

I'll happily enter the sweepstakes for Riewoldt. Two attractive assets I hold include Adelaide's 1st rounder and Hawthorn's 3rd rounder which certainly could be used in a trade possibility along with Collingwood's 1st rounder.

How about:

Richard Tambling, Adelaide 1st round pick 2010, Collingwood 1st round pick 2010 and Hawthorn 3rd round pick 2010 for Jack Riewoldt.

Far better value than anything West Coast seems willing or able to offer.

Not sure how willing West Coast would be to displace their team to make way for Riewoldt. But Nic Nat + Rich for Riewoldt + Cotchin + 2nd 2010 draft pick would be an interesting one with both sides looking better.

On the right track. Cyril Rioli is of interest if I can somehow get him in a trade scenario.

How about:
Cyril Rioli, Richard Tambling, Adelaide 1st rounder and Hawthorn 3rd rounder?
for Mitch Farmer and Jack Riewoldt?

Not going to give away Riewoldt without fair compensation. He is my franchise player and looks set to become the dominant KPF in the competition. If I get a serious bid then I might take it but not going to give away my best player for nothing obviously..

No deal.
Rioli in untouchable. Not really interested in any bigger deals than was on the table. Pretty happy just making minor depth moves more than anything at this stage with my side looking pretty good.

Not really sure Brisbane need need Riewoldt with Fevola AND Brown both to brag in their forwardline.

But certainly West Coast should be trying to turnover their entire list including picks for the chance to take on Riewoldt even if it means taking on a few bad contracts I would have jumped all over that one!

If it were me though I'd just list Riewoldt as an untouchable because as you said he is your franchise player and if signs this season mean anything he will be the best KPF in the comp. He is improving at such a rate that it is hard to really know whether you could ever get that value back in a trade really.

Brendan Fevola up for trade.

Looking for a very good midfielder i.e the likes of Swan, Montagna, Hodge, Ablett etc.

For a forward who has stated he hopes he will have 2 more years in the game, is injured, and has played shit all season.

I can see that trade happening ;)

A top quality inside midfielder who would be a nice fit while Melksham develops could be Shane Tuck. Having a super season and would be a nice addition taking some pressure off your other mids.

In another deal you were offering Reimers. I would entertain a direct trade of Tuck for Reimers if you are looking for a strong midfield upgrade.

Other players I could consider for Tuck include: Zaharakis or (Gumbleton with appropriate draft pick).

No thanks, Tuck is too old for Essendon.

How about Josh Thomas ???

Big fan of Josh Thomas. Was an excellent selection in last years draft. Has had a fantastic first season developing in the VFL and could break into the senior side as early as next season. His play is very comparable to Nathan Foley.

Certainly not up for sale at this early time.

Brendan Fevola up for trade.

Looking for a very good midfielder i.e the likes of Swan, Montagna, Hodge, Ablett etc.

Right now the best I'd be willing to trade for Fevola would be Davis/ Medhurst in a direct trade for Fevola at best. He looked really good in the Carlton forwardline when he was the only inside 50 target and on the end of balls delivered by Chris Judd and other top line midfielders. Some real concerning rumours off-field about Fevola this season and not sure how much longer he will last.

The best offer involving Swan I would be willing to do is:

Fevola, Leuenberger, West Coast 2010 1st rounder, Brisbane 2010 1st rounder, Brisbane 2010 2nd rounder for Dane Swan and Nick Maxwell.

In your backline you have some injury prone backman and Maxwell would be a good replacement for Patful/ McGrath in the starting lineup. Swan is my most valueable player and this would be a strong team boost for your aging midfield and firm up a questionable defence.

EDIT: In ruck this would leave you with McCauley who could easily step into the 2nd ruck position. Keep in mind the West Coast 1st rounder will likely be pick 4/6 (which over the last 5 years have been: Richard Tambling and Tom Williams. Josh Kennedy and Beau Dowler. Matthew Leuenberger and Mitch Thorp. Cale Morton and David Myers. Hamish Hartlett and Chris Yarran. Anthony Morabito and Gary Rohan). The Brisbane 1st round pick depending on ladder placing will likely be will be anywhere from pick 10 through to pick 20. And your 2nd round pick would be in the 30s just to put it in perspective. So I'm gambling pretty heavily on draft picks because all the value is going your way in this trade!

Not looking in trading Leunberger, But, If you could find a replacement to chuck in for him, then I would re negotiate.

Leuenberger is really a key for me taking this deal honestly. Aside from Orren Stephenson I don't really have another pure ruckman. Leuenberger and Fev make sense in that they can play in 2 positions I don't have enourmous strength in.

I might wait till later in the season when you change your mind on Leuenberger. His development really puzzles me, but his durability is the big concern. Just a youngish tall ruckman with some potential is still of interest which is what I like about Leuenberger.

Don't want to move Swan at all, nor Maxwell obviously. So I'll not really in a hurry to make this trade.

If I exchanged anyone for Leuenberger the only other player on your list that is of interest is Jonathan Brown. Not sure how you value him, durability and remaining career span are what again concern me. Like Fevola probably only has another year after this year. Personally rate him higher than Leuenberger because Leuenberger is unproven. But that is the only ammendment to this deal at this stage I would consider.

WCE Best 22 w/o Injuries.

HB: Beau Waters, Will Schofield, Shannon Hurn
C: Adam Selwood, Chris Masten, Matt Rosa

Looking to offload: Embley, Lynch, Brown & anyone else for right price.

Notice that you don't think Myers is in your best 22

Just wondering what it would take to get him back ???

lol... no tradebacks. Myers still has physical development left in him, when he gets bigger he is going to be a quality player. He has been injured this year too which has hindered his development. Someone with his skills will be highly valued at West Coast :)

Yeah, makes sense

What midfielders would you be willing to part with ???

Ebert
J. Jones
Kerr
Masten
McGinnity
A. Selwood

Most of those I value highly for the Eagles future so it will take a good offer for me to part ways with them.

Hey Knight, just wondering what we'll with Father/Son and International and NSW Scholarship Players ???

or if say Essendon were to sign Greg Inglis, would we on this game just include him in the actual draft or would Essendon get him ???

Also, just noticed that Tyson Slattery isn't included on Essendon's list on the main page

Father/son selections and NSW Scholarship players are as normal rules.

So for example the Western Bull Dogs will have the option to select Wallis and Libre Jr (if in draft they are not taken with their first selections other clubs can outbid then *to be done before draft*). So those rules as are normal.

As for NSW Scholarship players for example Collingwood's Tom Young I will have the option to select with either a rookie selection or a position on my senior list through the draft (Like Taylor Walker from Adelaide a few years back if you decide you want them on your senior list) with my final selection and no other clubs can select him unless I don't pick up on his option.

No deal.

I rate Swan much higher than that. Really not all that keen on trading him. Would take something spectacular to consider trading him. He is a quality player who gets better every year, is incredibly durable and looks like he will be around for a long time so really have no intention to trade him at any stage really.

Yes I would expect you would value Brown highly. Very understandable. When fit he is a quality player obviously.

Knight. Since you have some great small forwards and limited KPF quality while I don't have many small forwards and strong KPF depth I think we might be able to strike a deal which could make both of us stronger.

Jack Riewoldt and Mitch Farmer for Cyril Rioli, Sean Rusling, Adelaide 1st round pick and Hawthorn 3rd round pick?
