I think it's almost a certainty that Stenglein will be going home to Perth next year. The good thing is that both WA teams are going to finish ahead of us, so Stinga just can't use the pre-season draft to get home.
While West Coast are spoken of as being his likely suitor, if Josh Carr stays with Port, Freo might well be in the market as well, as neither WA team has a tagger of the quality of Stenglein.
Dealing briefly with Freo, I'd be telling them the only trades I'm interested in are
Stenglein for Schammer
or
Stenglein plus 1st rounder for Pavlich
Back to West Coast.
I went to the Port v West Coast game today and had a really good look first hand at Waters and Butler. Both these lads are going to be players of the future and the type that we need. Either would be a good trade, but I was really impressed with Waters

He's all that profile says and more, and only 18. He plays like a man already, and is very well put together. He'll end up being a top-liner IMO.
The good thing is that if the clubs don't want to trade these players Stinga stays here.
Let's use his possible departure as a positive, not as a backward step.
Your thoughts??
